I agree with CW about the Cowboys uniform with the blue jerseys, maybe not top-5 NFL but deserves consideration. I have bias because I've been a fan since childhood (a random choice that I continued) and it's infrequently used (white jerseys have been the norm for decades).

I don't think the Jack Trice throwbacks get enough love.

The Jack Trice throwbacks were great in theory but godawful in reality. Not to mention that it's been proven they're not actually Jack Trice throwbacks - they wore a gold jersey.

In no order New York Yankees(pinstripes), Dallas Cowboys(star on the helmet), St Louis Cardinals(the redbird on the jersey), Alabama Crimson Tide (the # helmets), Notre Dame (gold helmets).

Honorable mention Mighigan (the helmets with the maize and blue), San Diego Chargers (old powder blues).

Stay away from the Busch Lights Williams lol

I always think Georgia southern is the better than Alabama because it's the exact same as Bama but blue.

I like the Florida State black jerseys. But if we wear black, I want it to be all black and grey. No red or gold or white.

Iowa State Cardinal & Gold = ketchup & mustard. Call it whatever you want, it's red & yellow. The only reason Iowa State & dozens of other schools call it gold instead of yellow is because 100+ years ago the color was associated with cowardice.

Ironically the Yellow Jackets don't even use that color...

As I said, if you totally disregard the fact that they didn't really represent what Jack Trice wore at all, and just look at the colors, do you also not like those colors? I'm talking about just the cardinal and gold, not the white numbers.

How can you not at least like the colors in these?

These are the best uni's I've seen us wear....I wasn't around for the Ronald McDonald, ketchup and mustard, or the weird blue phase, but pictures of those are awful. Don't understand the hatred for them, they look awesome and are unique to ISU. The CPR years was basically ripping off Southern California. Like the combo's from last year, but if I had to pick one uniform to wear for the next 10 years, I would pick these.
