Very cool, she made the team for the first round of overseas games. Guessing (since it's well established I don't know anything) she will now have a great shot at making the additional games in China and Argentina.

Bridget Carleton had 13 points and 4 rebounds while Shay Colley added 9 points and 7 rebounds in Canada's 61-56 win against Japan. The game was the second of a 5-game European exhibition tour as the Women's National Team Program heads into the next stage of training.

Miah-Marie Langlois, Shay Colley, Bridget Carleton, Ruth Hamblin and Katherine Plouffe started for Canada. Click here for the full team roster.

Here is the schedule they are playing. They have three games this week, two against poor teams and one against a good team. They beat Japan but got smoked by #2 Spain with Carleton having two points.

The five-game tournament tips-off on May 26th against 2nd-ranked Spain. Canada, currently 6th in FIBA World Rankings, will then face-off against 13th-ranked Japan, 27th-ranked Montenegro, 3rd-ranked France and 41st-ranked Ukraine.

Bridget got selected to the Canadian official roster and will keep playing this summer.

TORONTO, ON – Junior guard Bridget Carleton has been named one of 12 athletes to make Canada's FIBA AmeriCup roster, Canada Basketball announced Friday. This marks Carleton's first selection to the official national team roster.

Edit: I'm not sure you will be able to watch this live. For the game that is on now, it says video is not available in this country, so..... at least we can follow the box score I guess. Game may be available later on youtube. Right now, it says same thing...game not available in this country. Maybe we can only see it on delay if at all.

just watched the semi-final and now they play in the finals Sunday night. Bridget finally got in to play in the 4th quarter and hit a 3, got a rebound and an assist.
