I like Brase more the more I read about him. He has a good reputation defensively, and is a good passer for a big guy. The ability to shoot will translate to the B12. He's played for a good program.

Also, he plus thug

No. I just didn't have a gif of Scotty doing the throats slash/it's over in Iowa City. This just shows him Thug Lifing it and doing the Harlem Shake.
He actually did The Bernie not The Harlem Shake.

Aside from the knee, his stats look good a couple years back. Saw him listed as a SF, can he play 5, or is he more likely to play 4 and leave Young at 5?

Base 5 Young at 4 IMO. Base is supposed to be a good defender so I would want him defending the paint and rim especially going zone.

If we go zone, what you say plus Beverly at 3 might be interesting. Thinking 2-3.

Those with info claim he won't play the 3 because he's not quick enough to defend a 3. So, can he defend as a 4, but play offense as a 3? Never mind, that would mean the 5 and 4 on offense would have to defend the 3 instead of him. 1 or 2 ways of looking at it. While we're at it, will we see a 7, 8, or 9 main rotation? Anyone confused yet?? Sorry, couldn't resist. (That's right, you said "if we go zone". We play it some, but I still see Prohm as mainly a man-to-man guy.)

We can't be limited to "we play spread offence and man to man defense". We don't have the players for that setup. Anyone can know one offense or defense given the perfect players. A good coach designed the plan around the players he has.

I think Brase, Young and Lard could be interchangeable at the 4/5, with Beverly or Babb playing the 4 if we want to go small or Babb at the 4, Beverly at the 5 if we want to go really, small.

It was reported from Beverly's visit he's closer to 6'4, guessing he won't be playing much 5.

If we land Brase and fail to land any 3 point shooters, there will be little reason to go small.
