Everyone is frustrated, the way the season is playing out. The reality of the situation is that there is no dominate team in college basketball.
This was a year of transition from Fred to Steve, so this is the bumpy part of everyone getting used to each others styles. CSP is trying to get through the kids heads that he is the coach and wants to do things his way, if he pisses them off now and we lose a few games because of it - so be it. HOWEVER if McKay, Cooke and whoever else is not buying into the team today, has about a month to get it turned around. I would prefer for coach to have these semi-public spats with the players now than in March (we saw how the BDJ situation turned out in March).
If everyone gets on the same page in the next 4 weeks, all they to do is to get into the tournament with a focused team playing well. ISU can beat any team in the country this year, and maybe coming in as a 4-6 seed will take some of the pressure off their shoulders and they will play more free.
If they get their heads on straight, this team can still be playing in Houston even if they finish the Big12 .500 record.
