Shouldn't be much. I would agree 12-13 sounds about right.

We may not drop at all. Lots of teams lost this week, and no other to the #2 team in the country by a couple points.... I have seen many ones when a team held or went up after a showing on the road to a top 5 team

There's no way we drop to 14-16. 4pt loss on road to what will be #2 team(and a real #2 team might I add) ain't dropping an 11th ranked team by 3-5 spots. We might actually move up. Butler is 9th and wil drop out of top 15...Purdue had played absolutely no one this year outside...well...Butler..and got beat by Butler...Purdue should drop out of top 25 just for getting out scored by 26 in a half to Iowa at home.

If anything we should move up in the rankings. I think we proved last night that we are a top 10 team. I think we'll stay at 11 though.

Never understood rankings. You see this scenario all of the time. A lower ranked team plays even with a higher ranked team on the road, loses a close one, and drops. Didn't they prove that they should actually be ranked closer to that team? It's why I don't put any stock in the rankings that are decided by voters.

Didn't move up after we beat #22 on the road. Dropping 5 spots after losing to the #2 team on the road in a tight contest would be par for the ISU course.

Way up there
90% of voters won't care or realize we played OU close, they'll just notice we lost, I think we drop to 15 or so.

Don't care honestly.

Just keep playing like we did last night and everything will work itself out in the end. The NCAA tourney doesn't care where you are ranked. The #1 ranked team at the end of the year rarely wins it all, so it doesn't really matter much.

Iowa State killed a lot of NCAA brackets last year. Seems like voters are holding a grudge.

I'm joking, kind of.

Don't give a **** what the idiot voters do for this week. The Boxster rating has us at #10. Thought we looked every bit of that last night against a Top 5 team on their home court.

Bet we are closer to 20 than 10. MSU will get love as sportswriters all **** Izzo *** . So they will stay close to #1 or not move. We will get dropped as we have Prohm - not Fred. That is exactly how these nitwits think - Not Fred. Big Tin will be overrated as usual and the Big 12 will be scorched for losing to higher ranked teams. Big Tin is lauded for hanging tough - Big 12 is scolded for not taking advantage of opportunity. It is Hi - larious the way these fools talk. March Madness will be only thing to shut these talking heads up!

Ill say 13. Butler drops below us, Providence, Duke and Nova moves ahead of us. If Arizona States beats Arizona today, we will be 12.

We were the best game on TV on Saturday in prime time on ESPN2. I think a lot of people turned into believers on Saturday.

My conservative estimate is #11 or #12 at the worst. My high-ceiling pick is #9.

I'm to the point that I could care less what we are ranked. Every time we Crack the top 10 we have a letdown, makes you wonder if the players are reading too much of their own press some times l. This team needs the motivation to EARN the rankings and accolades and not just buy into all the hype of everyone saying they have the talent to be a Final 4 team. Still have to play the games, no one is just going to hand over a Final 4 berth to you and UAB is all they need to remember how that is true. I'm not worried, that was a good team we lost to yesterday but there is room to improve, especially on defense and this team can make its mark by either working more on that or being ok with the status quo and assuming they can outscore everyone

I think we will stay put at #11. Hard to penalize a team for losing by 4 at the #2 (frankly I think they should be #1) team in the country. But the AP voters aren't the brightest highlighters in the bunch so they will probably have not watched the game, saw we lost, and toss us at 15.
