Would you take Fred back someday?

Am I the only one that thinks Fred could back as our AD in 5 years? He has a business degree, and his experience in the front office with the Timberwolves could help him out.

Could be...come back for 5 years as AD, then jump to the Bulls or T'Wolves president's job just as we're gaining momentum...I can see that.

Taking LeBron back is working out well for Cleveland. I don't underestimate Fred but typical nba coaching means he is looking for a new job or retiring 3-4 years from now.

Bulls will probably want Horny then after he takes us to a couple of Final Fours.

I don't think that the AD job would even interest Fred. Doesn't really seem to fit him. I would guess that he would rather be in a GM role with a team. Fred wants to manage basketball, not football and women's tennis.

I'd be all for it as long as next time he really commits to ISU. Don't really want to deal with Fred to the NBA every offseason again.

If we had an opening and applied, I would definitely give him an interview. Why not?

No.... sorry, but he had his shot to be the coach here, now it's time for others to get the opportunity.

It would depend on the state of the program. In an ideal world we'll continue to have success and we wouldn't need him back.

He's going to make millions. He's not going to regret this decision. He can always go back to coaching college if that's what he decides he wants...but if you read enough articles, you begin to realize, this IS exactly what he's always wanted.
