Colorado 2005. Amazing, electric atmosphere that night. Big Play Curvey had a big night

Yes, So we all die.....

I can't remember what game or what year but I know it's been at least 10 years ago but right about kick off we had a REAL tornado warning. Maybe against Toledo? Anyways, they sent people to Hilton and watching the mad dash of people run that way while I sat in a ditch and drank busch light was priceless. Didn't end up being much more than a heavy thunderstorm and some good ol wind.

As my avatar might suggest, the grass will be dank for the game Saturday. Very smooth, but very dank, as with most Saturdays. And weekdays. And Sundays. dank.jpg

I feel like this thread would take on a whole new meaning if the " " were rearranged. Let's try this Condition of "grass" for Saturday.

These grass field losses for Baylor (from http://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/2gvrml/baylor_and_the_curious_case_of_natural_grass/):

2013: Fiesta Bowl to UCF, 52-42
2012: @ Oklahoma, 42-34; @ ISU in Jake Knott's last game, 35-21`
2011: @ A&M, 55-28
2010: @ Colorado----win; @ Oklahoma----loss
2009: @ Oklahoma---loss; @ ISU---loss; @ A&M---loss
2008: @ UConn---loss; @ Texas---loss

Basically, they struggled in Briles' early years on grass, when they were putting the program together. Otherwise, an amazing situation with Jake Knott's last game, which Jake was never going to lose. I'd say that Baylor's "struggles" on grass are awfully overrated.

Yeah, not much more, except for the tornado that hit north of town and destroyed/damaged a bunch of homes.

That 2005 Colorado game was one of the most fun games I've ever been to.

Great stuff, CycloneErik.

Minor detail -- we played OU at home in 2010, not on the road. Due to the change in the Big 12, we got OU at home two years in a row (2010 and 2011).
