Crazy how the two big losses that helped lead to the establishment of We Will, Isheem Young and Craig McDonald, flamed out so bad. Addition by subtraction there. With the help of a big whiskey and a early bedtime for everyone else in my home, I looked back at the past 4 transfer classes and picked the names that stood out to me as contributors or once-promising young'ins. This is not comprehensive, the list is ordered from recent transfers to oldest, and all stats are just whatever was on team websites this evening.

I got my hopes up after Ezeogu’s pair of PBUs against Kansas State. Thought maybe he’d taken a jump. Alas, you’re spot onCrazy how the two big losses that helped lead to the establishment of We Will, Isheem Young and Craig McDonald, flamed out so bad. Addition by subtraction there.
Really happy for Eli Sanders. I really liked him as a player and was bummed to lose him because I thought he could be a good “joker” player for us. He really established himself as a true no. 1 back the last two years.
Miss Onyedim right now. Kind of an underrated loss for us.
Who is Miss Onyedim? Was she on the basketball team or the volleyball teamCrazy how the two big losses that helped lead to the establishment of We Will, Isheem Young and Craig McDonald, flamed out so bad. Addition by subtraction there.

Was at ole miss for a year then, north Texas, then Memphis I guessIsheem ended up at Memphis? I thought he transferred to an SEC school. Either way, surprising that his contribution was that small.
Agreed. Even our long snapper went to a good school, the national champions. We were set to return almost all of our starters. Kinda wish Penn State would have waited another year to poach Campbell. It will be interesting to see how these guys do at their new school once the season starts. A large percentage transferred to another P4. On the surface I think that says Campbell and staff did a really good job of identifying talent. Or it in part is respect by other programs for the success at ISU recently. Pretty impressive list. Sad it all happened, but ready to move on with the new staff and players.
Meh that group has a lot to prove yet before I’d put them ahead of that group. The potential of Brahmer has always gotten a lot more love than the results. Kolar is/was far better, easy to forget he was first team all big 12 three straight years. Love Burkle, but he’s not much different than Allen. And this recent TE room didn’t have a Soehner type.Man—-the TE room was probably the best in school history. Yes, even better than the Kolar, Soehner, Allen group
