RTT...20-20 hindsight.

You probably know, but being old myself, it's pretty common and not much risk medically. The key is to ensure she is disciplined about PT. Both with the therapist in sessions AND AT HOME doing the required work.

I know people who were not disciplined enough to put in the work and their recovery and range of motion are limited.

So make sure she does it!

Ts&Ps, buddy.

Yeah, I have all of my own joints yet but the is key to getting the most out of it per a my peers that all seem to be sporting news knees and hips. Retired doctor friend chickened out of the surgery this spring. Not sure what he was thinking, he's younger than me and is hobbling around to the point I thought he was maybe at least 80 (only met him a few years ago) and find out he's actually several years younger than me.

Double milestones yesterday (1) first saw-whet baby owl ever (2) first $5 gasoline ever!

Only the 1st was on my bucket list. And totally worth the $20 of fuel I burned up driving to see the owl.
I got burned by my first $5.00/gal gas in Indiana on the Turnpike last time gas was spiking. Prior to that my top had been $4.99.9.

So glad I got a hybrid Santa Fe in Nov 2025. Gets at least 32 Hwy and in the 40's around town. When I fill up it often reads over 600 miles left on the tank.

Watching Dark Knight Rises on amc and they literally went to commercial in the middle of the final scene, there's like 2 minutes left in the movie.

Discounted rate . . . . probably only charged $10 per hot dog (which cost him about $0.40).

Killing the entrepreneurial spirit.
So many questions how did he bring his own in? Did he have a used concessionair uniform and just roll up to the employee entrance? How long did he get by doing it?

Neighbor had one of those robot lawn mowers. He has had it for 3 years. In about 10 years it may do our whole lawn, it has slowly been drifting further and further onto our lawn.

I have to go to either Menards or Home Depot. Boo! Hate going there on a Saturday afternoon but need a replacement hose nipple for my vintage garden hose. Should say "another" one since the one that's stripped was also a replacement. Hose itself is a lost brand from the past, Swan, that made crazy soft/flexible hoses. I have two and they are over 30 years old.

I wonder if it's the same brand as the one I got decades ago at Farm and Fleet? Said it was lifetime guaranteed. So far, so good. But yes, one of the endie things is leaking ever so slightly, if the hose is at one particular angle from the hose bib.
