My question if Ech leaves is, what would that mean for Yonger.

Yonger was there before ech anyways don't think he would leave
This seems like a post that is wildly unfair to AE. We have zero context right now around any rumored departure to begin with.
I’m jealous of the transfer portal success the huskers have had. They haven’t relied on the transfer portal, they’ve recruit and developed at a high level instead. But when they do use the portal, they have success. That’s a good recipe
Of course, my comment could have started with "If true..." Just thought that was assumed.
I don't really care about being "fair" to him, regardless.
Him departing could just as easily be an acknowledgement between Ech/staff that if he wants to go 149 and has the opportunity to cash in, then it can work for both parties given our logjam and resources we'll want to spend at many other weights.
On the human side. I get it. You can feel what you want but people don't have to be considered irredeemable. By all accounts he was a great teammate, student, person, etc. during his time at Iowa State. I'm not going to die on this hill, but I think we can see pretty clearly that KD and Iowa State have made a VERY positive influence on a young man who's life could/would have gone a very different direction following his time at Ohio State and he made the most of the opportunity for himself as well.
man thats gonna be a heck of a cut for him. if he can pull it off he could be a top 5 threat though

So this was the AA that was mentioned going in the portal and not Ech? That's a heck of a cut, but 184 is loaded so I can see why these guys want to avoid that weight
I don't care how it's spun, Ech is far and away the best of the four in the log jam. Losing him will hurt on multiple accounts.
