**** Official 2026 MBB Spring Transfer Portal Thread ****

So, 5 teams in 5 years. Someone, awhile back (I think) said he also moved four times in high school, so if that is true, he would be on his 9th different team, in 9 years.

How is he getting a 5th year? Did he get a medical redshirt a year? Also notice he is always on losing teams? So he would rather score 20 a game and lose than 14 and play on a winner. Not an Iowa state type guy

Michigan just won a national title playing 2 bigs who don't stretch the floor.
They did tonight. Dusty May is a really good coach. Smart enough to know if you ain't hitting 3's. Pound the paint.

But over the course of the season, Mara and Johnson combined for 50mpg. So the key was a stretch 4- Lendeborg.

Your point on not having a stretch 4 probably applies more to Arizona.

But thought the tournament showed, it really helps to have a 7'+ post who impacts shots, clogs the paint and has some low post game.

He only played in 6 games as a freshman I think. May have been injured. Does basketball have a rule where a kid can play a certain amount of games and still redshirt like football does?

After watching the physicality and bigs from Michigan, I wish we could go back to a roster like 2023-24 with Tre King, Big Rob, and Hason Ward.

Combined with big guards like Keshon Gilbert and Curtis Jones, I feel like that team may have been better than this year's ISU team amd maybe even underachieving at 29-8. That was the best and most physical ISU defense I have ever seen.

Michigan has five transfers starting; you can buy the team you want if you have $15-20M
