I could see him going first round because his one skill is elite.
He can’t create his own shot, and probably never will, but every NBA team’s guards can and most NBA teams have 5 guys on the floor who can shoot the 3 at 33%+ to stretch the floor at all times. So he won’t necessarily have to create his own shot. Plus he does have the midrange fadeaway which is money.
It’s his D that could prevent him going in the first round. He’ll absolutely get hunted on D. But I could see him being a Duncan Robinson level player.

Smart move on his part given the rather lax defense standards in the NBA today. He will likely average 50 points per game.

He’s saying (tongue in cheek) that ISU could sue the NCAA to let Milan come back and play for us after he plays in the G-league. Not that ISU would sue Milan
The appeals would take forever. I highly doubt ISU is spending money on that legal fight. If you play professionally you shouldn't be able to come back either.

The problem is Milan is not going to improve his draft staus staying another year. Hes already proved his shooting ability. His limitations are his athletic ability which is not going to take a leap in one more year of college. An NBA team will sign him this year knowing this.
Between him being another year older, being maxed out when it comes to being the best shooter at this level, along with now other teams doubling him off every screen next year I feel the correct move will be for him to go pro. At worst he's going to get a 2way contract.
I want the clones to be as good as we can be and that is with MM on the roster but have to be proud that this program keeps producing pro talent.
Hines is a known idiot. Milan is going to test the waters and get feedback. This has been in the plans for months and he'd be dumb not to.
