oh yeah I noticed last weekend they put on a replay of the royal rumble that was in Saudi on espn tv.
I'd love if anyone but Cody wins but it ain't happening. Tired of Cody being shoved down our throats. He finished his story time to move on to others.
I’m kind of glad this thread popped back up. I do not like pro wrestling, but I understand that it’s a soap opera for men and is fun, dumb entertaining. I’m not going to yuck on your yum.
With that said the fact that ESPN has these fake wrestlers on their morning shows and now have to talk about these events lie they are real sporting events makes me want to puke. It’s a travesty of Idiocracy level declination of society.

It’s a soap opera like you said, I don’t watch it hardly ever anymore, but soap operas have been around longer than TV.
It's mainly because espn now airs their ppv's and they want to promote it to get subscribers.
Jericho showing up in a crate would have seemed a goofy gimmick by Jericho's standards. He seems worthy of a more legend type of pop comeback...

I assume they're going to use him in NXT and AAA more than anywhere.
I don't get him. I don't get the gimmick and I think it's really dumb but he sells merchandise and has a massive social media following so he's doing something right.
Actually pro wrestling was a lot bigger 20-25 years ago. Look at the arena crowds back then compared to now. Even some of the main events ( they used to call them PPVs) don't sell out in the US anymore.
Now will they have Cody win on Friday and just run Cody vs Randy at Mania, or will there be a bunch of tomfoolery and end up with a fatal 4+ way match at Mania?
