I disagree in part...I think almost any team is capable of running an uptempo/no-huddle offense for several series in a game. I'm not suggesting it should be ISU's total offensive strategy the entire game but mix it up. Running uptempo/no-huddle definitely helps keeps the defense on their...
We had a great year last year after a first game let down...I'm confidant we'll have a great season this year as well but as a fan I'd like to see the offense do some different things to reduce the predictability of our offense...
*More up tempo/no huddle...Mix it up and don't let the D get set...
If we want to see our shooting improve at Hilton how about having the team practice and shoot AT HILTON rather than Soukup. I would think the lighting and feel has to be completely different between the 2 facilities.
Just a thought.
Bottom line is if Thomas scores 15 or more we win. Thomas can score less than 15 and we can still win or lose...but if Thomas scores 15 or more, based on the statistics, we will win.
ISU has never lost when Thomas has scored 15 or more points. Stop mocking and fighting the statistics.
The stats are the stats...ISU has never lost when Thomas scores 15 or more. Whether it is meaningless or not is open to interpretation but facts are facts.
Don't fight the stats - just roll with it.
That is a fact. If Thomas goes for 15 or more chances are that we win. Of course we have won games where Thomas has scored lower than 15...but ISU has never lost a game where Thomas scores 15 or more.
If it has to be classic rock then....

First - put the bottle down and reread the article genius. "The school has played in 12 bowl games, 8 since 2000"
Second - Bet Matt Campbell is feeling great today - he just got $2M per year minimum and a 6 year contract now he just has 110 years of history to overcome in a recently realigned...
As I said...there may be "one-off" years where an ISU or KS have a great year...but those years would likely be the exception rather than the rule. My argument is it is likely not sustainable with the current conference set up.
I'm not making this stuff up...Firstly read-up on how Snyder turned around KSU.
Second we are definitely in the top 5 hardest P5 jobs...#2 according to this article - you think they just pulled ISU out of their arse and ranked them #2...
Sure Erik...
Second toughest P5 coaching job.....sure - it ain't the schedule or recruiting or geography etc....

Nothing to see here folks....New guy coming...
New Plan - add Memphis and Cincinnati to the conference:
Big 12 North:
ISU, KU, KSU, WVU, CINCI, Memphis
Big 12 South:
UT, BU, OU, OSU, TT, TCU
It'd also be arguably the best basketball conference in the nation.
