I know that there are a lot of fans that don't think we need a grad transfer, but I like the idea of bringing in someone. Just feels like next years team could be special, and it would be good to have another experienced option even if KK gets the 6th year.
I wonder if part of this is because he'll have 2 years of eligibility, instead of 1. So even if Kempt returns, Thomson could be experienced "insurance" for 2018 and '19 (if it was only '18, in that case, maybe it'd be "redundant").
It seems like this young man is attracting a big buzz, with Phil Simms talking him up. Every FBS program has probably perked its ears up by now so it will be a competitive environment to sign this guy.
Been really quiet the last week or so. Hopefully we hear from NCAA sooner than later on Kempt. I hope he is back, and we get two new QB's who want to come here and compete to win.
