Big accomplishment by the ISU engineering team! Like it or not, the ISU team finished in style: "ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA – PrISUm Solar Car finished the 2017 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in classic Iowa State style: blasting Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” as they crossed the finish line in South Australia’s capital city."

The teams put on a show -- quite literally in the case of Bochum, whose team pitched their car’s features from the point of view of two tourists travelling the Australian outback. Likewise, Iowa State University aimed to garner the judges’ attention by offering beer from an esky in the vehicle’s storage space.

Definitely an Iowa State thing to do. It doesn't appear that the judges judged the cars on tailgating practicality, however.

It's a good thing they waited until they crossed the finish line. If they would've played it, let's say, 3 quarters of the way through they would've blown a tire.

That's funny, but totally true! I really enjoyed checking out the website on the Challenge, some great pictures and stories they tell of their cross-continent trip. Representin' ISU well!
