When did it come accepted common practice to have your cell phones on blast in waiting rooms? Three stops this morning - first one, this woman had her phone on facetime and was have a VERY loud conversation with someone on the other end whose entire conversation consisted of eff this and effing that. I wanted so badly to go stand over her shoulder and watch the conversation. When she asked me why, I would tell her that if I was forced to hear it, I might as well participate in it. However, she was twice my size and half my age. It probably would have ended poorly for me.

Second one, this guy (probably late fifty-ish) was playing a game on and it sounded like that clip of Trump doing the "bing, bingbong, bingbing" bit in one of his rally speeches.

Third one, there were so many cell phone games & videos playing they were competing in a wall of sound. We finally went out in the hall to get away from all the noise.

Maybe they're escaping their medical worries, but they were definitely annoying many of the rest of us.

It's one of my toxic traits that I want to carry around cheap ear buds and give these people a pair.

Kind of a polite way to tell them that nobody wants to hear their phones and to knock it the **** off.

I got a spam text today supposedly from the Iowa DOT.

Guess Iowa is about to revoke my driving privileges. (My DL is from Florida)

My biggest worry is that I will be charged for not paying my speeding ticket at a toll booth next time I pass through one.

Dumb-asses don't even know there are no toll roads in Iowa.
