They like to hang out in Crystal lake either start of winter or end of. Many times 2x that amount and a couple hundred honkers. I have 2 jackwagons that seem to hang out in the same spot in my home place every March/April. I had one try to attack my field cultivator when working ground one year on another farm. 10k dollar fine to kill one, I wasn’t sure what I was going to do if it ran under and got killed.
My advice. Shovel and shut up ;)

PSA: **Do NOT shoot the big white birds or the big brown ones with the pretty white heads when chasing waterfowl**

Enjoyed catching up on here; it's been a few days. Now the whole day is ahead of me, but I just don't feel motivated with this weather. I think I will lie back down for a couple of hours.

Son is coming home from Ames Friday night. Be good to have him home for a while.

Had a bunch of vacation to use by EoY (I know big problem), spent yesterday afternoon planing some oak lumber from the "home place" with my dad for a house project on my honey-do list. Two observations:

1) I'm grateful my father had the foresight to save the logs and saw the timber despite not having a ton of "need" for the lumber at the time.

2) It was nice getting to spend that much time with my father. He'll be 67 in the Spring and I'm not sure how many more projects like these we'll have time to share together. Enjoy the moments.

I've stored six of their Tenders at a place I rent for a few years for no fee, and this year they didn't park them where I asked. I had to move them as I couldn't wait for them to do it. I needed to park my own equipment. I see they asked if I would buy two of them. LOL. Not only no, but given the year, I think that when I drop off the check, we need to have a talk about storage fees for next year.
WOW, john.....I am glad you are a supporter here. I didn't post anything untrue. I hope you had a few beers before you messaged me. Don't threaten me. Post what you want! You can take your 200k hat and stick it. I am sure DeKalb and Channel will take my business.

Call if you like, OR BETTER YET, HAVE YOUR BOSS CALL.

Dad's 84 old age is catching up with him especially the last 5 yrs or so, just grateful that I still get to work with him.
Also your post made it dusty over here, darn you;).

Yes, NW. John who works for the company contacted me privately about that post and told me to delete it with some threats if I didn't. He said he will be keeping an eye on it. I quoted myself as a message to him.
Ok now I'm catching on, hope you all can get it sorted out.

Hey John, why are you harassing an RTT'er? This is the good frog, not the rotter frog.

I would send them a bill for storage immediately, cheap storage as they are now sitting outside. Hopefully you haven't purchased seed and it is a good time to check out other brands. (I feels it's never best to be 100% any company). You didn't mention the company but I had a good assumption what brand it was.

Throwing my hat into this seed discussion. My grandfather always used Pioneer, not sure what my cousin uses now. Planting independently sounds great. Spread your seed as you see fit.
