I’m a pretty big dolphins fan so watching teams stacked with talent but no idea what to do with it seems to be my thing
I don't expect a team with Audi as the centerpiece to resemble Showtime but our whole team just looks so slow and unathletic (by major-conference basketball standards; I'm sure they could all run circles around me).Beginning to think we’re just not very good.
My main concern lately is the lack of development.I fear this team is going to get trounced in conference play where every night they face teams with athleticism inside and out. I know I’ve said it before, but each game that passes it feels increasingly like the Prohm era where there is no game plan beyond feed a single player (Audi) and hope for the best — and a lot of standing and watching. It’s not even feed the post, because they don’t try to do so when Audi sits.
At least glad to see they’ve cleaned up the free throws. *shrug*
The last paragraph is the bigger and more concerning problem. This team REALLY misses the outside threat we had last season with Belanger. The shooters we transferred in have been so disappointing, shooting a collective 31% when last year they all shot 40-48% on higher volume.
The offense this year just doesn't have much movement, it's the ball-handler dribbling and the other four players standing around for the most part.
Somebody needs to have a “Come to Jesus” discussion with her.Observations:
Love Audi, but attention & lack of effort on D drag her overall talent down. Almost a liability on D.
Actually, i think Addy has shown flashes, but seems content to her second fiddle status. Addy could take over games, but Bill is so damn insistent on this post-driven offense. My main concern lately is the lack of development.
Addy and Audi are great but have they improved significantly since last year?
Ryan has been the same player for five years. A good player but very little development.
Audi is a bit of a black hole when she gets it in the post, which may be part of the issue. She scores a lot down there so maybe it's not really a problem but I was expecting a 2009 Orlando Magic offense this year (command a double-team in the post, pass it out to any one of four great shooters) and we just aren't doing that. The last paragraph is the bigger and more concerning problem. This team REALLY misses the outside threat we had last season with Belanger.
With another beat down staring us in the face.We are not good folks
Enjoy this moment. With another beat down staring us in the face.
