That’s was called correctly after they didn’t call it a foul in the course of play.

People seem to forget how young this team is. Should/Could we have won tonight? Yes! Our core are all sophomores. Losing Hare is big. A lot of season left! Expectations may have been a bit too high. But, time will tell. Go State!
My point is she never really got back into the flow of the game. Bring her in with 29 seconds left in the 3rd for a shot? Weird. Now, maybe if she plays the 3rd, she gets that 4 th foul right away and the point is moot. Guess we’ll never know.
Built and gave the lead back in the 3rd quarter. Put Addy in after most of the lead was gone. Led by 3 going into 4th.
It states, very plainly, that at any point in the game where you need to, **** over ISU.
You see if they would have observed it, then Iowa wouldn't have had a 5 on 4 3 point play. We wouldn't want that though.
The refs were horrible all game, per usual in women’s basketball. It’s what I think holds the game back the most.
Agree to an extent, but the style of play is kind of stale if I’m being honest. I’d like to see more movement (duh). But how about some push for some transition 3’s? Emily dribbling around and trying to force a pass to the post gets old to watch.
I thought we had a very poor offensive game plan. Need more spacing for Crooks. To easy to double when others are standing near the paint.
People who coach or know basketball should see this how players are high pointing the ball because she doesn’t really jump. And when she has the ball it’s very slow and methodical. She needs to improve that next year on quickness being able to bend down and playing more than 3-4 mins straight. Can’t beleive I am saying that about an all American. Seriously.
I won’t argue she gets a lot of points in the paint but I would argue we turn the ball over 10 times or more a game getting the ball to her along with she does miss a lot of layups and free throws.
It’s all just odd.
What I did not expect is a big step back from Ryan.
This really could have been blow out if Iowa hadn’t been shooting terribly from the three most of the game.

Audi, and all the women on the team are great. Just not playing the BEST basketball of their lives. We (me included) have been pretty hard on them too.
The problem is that Iowa State has been young for like the last 10 years…
We didn't have an answer to stop Olsen from driving in to shoot a 12-foot jumper. When she got past her defender none of our players slid over to help out.

Wonder what the team would be like with Denae Fritz, Lexi Donarski and Jalynn Bristow on the roster.
Also a Bill problem. Player retention has been a big issue for him, and personally I’d be amazed if it doesn’t become an issue again.
