I look forward to these guys getting their coaching certificates. Lol. Lol. Lol.
I dont mind and find Hassel kind of fun to listen to.

Miller is an absolute A-hole. I tried to watch/listen to he and chris' show for a while. But Miller is so insufferable pompas jackwagon that I just cant watch or listen to anything with him.

Hassel at least has a sense of humor and can take what he dishes out, and at least tries to have fun.

It ranks as one of my favorite games because of how painful it was/is for Iowa fans. They got State'd. It was a masterclass in "**** around and find out". It's also why we lose a lot of similar close games.

They have every bit of emotion and momentum on their side with like 95% odds of winning at half time. They came out and things looked like we might move the ball but no reason for their fans to get scared. And then we promptly took a jack hammer to their balls in the last 30 seconds.

While this is probably the only time I'd ever say this phrase, it works... sometimes, somebody else's tears can taste like champagne. Maximum pain = maximum pleasure!

It's been mentioned a few times, but the way ISU won yesterday is the exact same way Iowa has beaten a lot of teams under Ferentz. They're learning it's not particularly enjoyable when you're on the other end of it.

ISU's done similar too over the years.

Weird start, find some way to hang around enough and then come up with the plays late to pull it off.

They just finally closed the deal on Iowa.

Oh absolutely, Campbell's teams are never truly out of it if they can keep it close when things aren't going well.

In this instance it's nice to give Kirk & the hoks a taste of their own medicine. :campbell:

Watching the game winning kick again, the clock is supposed be started on the snap, the kicker already has kicked the ball and its in the air and the clock is still at 9 seconds. Now its possible that it was at 9.9 seconds, does not show tenths of a second, but it sure looks like they did not start the clock until well after it had left his foot and is flying towards the goal posts.
If the person was trying to rig the clock as you’re suggesting then letting it run to zero on the kick off when there was actually a second left was an interesting choice.

Dolph is a-ok by me, at least as far as Hawkeyes go.
He reminds me of my uncle who was roommates with McCarney's best friend back in college. He's as hawk as it gets but he can give ISU props when they deserve it. I think Dolph is the same.

Honestly Northern Illinois should be ranked whether you think they are a top-25 team or not. I believe they are 2-0 with a road win against a top-5 team. On pure resume alone nobody has a better one. Especially how much everyone was clamoring up Notre Dame after their impressive win at Kyle Field last week.
True. And I was being facetious, making fun of the early rankings favoring the P2 and ND.
