One of the Fever preseason games even had to be rescheduled specifically because of Tyrese's heroics beating the Knicks while playing injured and it was clearly a bigger story that their girl's preseason schedule changed than that a Cyclone all star was hitting game winners and scoring 30+ at MSG getting his franchise to the ECF for the first time in 20+ years.

I still laugh at how my local news in LA (same state but not even in SF) covered Brock's run to the superbowl more than local Iowa media did. I could turn on random local radio here and they'd be talking Brock Purdy while M&A couldn't bother to take a Clark break. Then Cyclone fans on this board would try to convince me it actually was bigger than the Superbowl.
Haliburton making the Olympic team is also a huge deal that doesn't seem to be discussed much.
I am always curious how the "airtime" works for the paid bits vs just having a guest on....it always is seemless to the listener. But like Mr. Movie...is he just Muphy's buddy or does he pay?

I think Mr. Movie's segment had a sponsor (P&P Small Engines?)

You can tell they don't watch/care for the NBA. The day after Haliburton got hurt in game 2 vs Boston (middle of the 3rd quarter), they commented on his lack of production in the playoffs (10 pts & 8 assists when he went out). Weird take being Haliburton scored double digits in all but two games, including 1 triple double, and almost averaged a double-double in the playoffs. It wasn't until after game 3 they realized he was injured and didn't play.
Can’t listen to this station for NBA coverage. Not even CW back in the day.

This thread should be removed. What a sad sack. You guys complaining none stop sure don't know how to change the freaking radio station. Whine whine whine. Okay, KXNO has an opening for a new show! Which of you dbags is gonna offer to do a show?

Morning Rush is a good morning show. Yes, Chris and Ross ending their show sucked the life out of KXNO for me but I've enjoyed Ross, Travis and Justin. They have a decent thing going.

M&,A seemed like a show for older ppl.

The Drive, I can't. I just can't. Sean is okay but he needs a better partner, someone closer to his age like Songer. Heather is gone too often and it's too much 5-0 talk.
"Tomorrow on the morning rush, we talk FARTS AND BEWBS! Followed by guessing if Hayden Fry inspired Tom Sellecks mustache. And then more FARTS AND BEWBS! All tomorrow on the farts and bew....morning rush."

Probably pre-scheduled vacation time, but who knows.

I listened Friday while running errands, and Siepker and the producer (I can never remember his name) were fine, but it was mostly a eulogy to Murph & Andy.

The Drive was completely unlistenable. The first thing they talked about was, "what are you doing this weekend?" Um. That's fine discussion for later ... after you've hit any sports topics, but it's not a great lead-off on a Friday.

Murph went to DC to watch Caitlin Clark play. No joke.
