My sister said that her fiancé's cousin wouldn't be a good match because she said she's high strung and I'm too laid back. Opposites attract right? No harm in trying it out.

I was gonna chat with you but you raced out the plane probably because we were late landing. Hope it's a safe travel
I have to use gate assistance because of my back...I can walk, but not distances and not fast. :(
We had to get over to C1. We got here just as they were starting the boarding process...but now we're waiting for two more passengers trying to get here. At least my ass is on the plane and this is the homeward leg.

Were you up front? We stood there for probably 15-20 minutes while they tried to mate the jet way to the plane.

High strung translates to high maintenance in my book...like my sister. I can spend time on a cruise with her, but only if we go our separate ways a good portion of the time. :D

Not exactly sure.

It never hurts to kick the tires. Worst thing is you have a good story about this crappy date you had.

I don't care who it is: this has to be the case for me with about anyone.

Probably repeating myself but visiting friends and family is a 3 day rule especially if we can't get time on our own.

This probably leans heavily on me being a pretty strong introvert.

I read an article a while ago from a hospitality employee's perspective on watching family reunions over a week's time or whatever, and unless the family had lots of choices for folks to go do their own thing during the days, things would get hairy/dysfunctional as the days went along.

Usually best to give one extra day at least between changing jobs. I had one job where as soon as you gave 2-4 weeks notice, the boss would tell you to just pack your things and not hang around. So I expected that when I gave notice. He asked when my last day would be and I mentioned it was like 16 days away and he marked his calendar and said he would meet with me that morning. That assumption didn't work well because I was going to start 18 days from then and was using the break for fieldwork. So I did the friday/monday thing.
I've never been a fan of employers acting like you are stabbing them in the back when you move on for a position that better fits your life or a promotion. It has always been my philosophy that as a boss it is my job to help those who work for me to become ready for the next stage of their careers. When someone develops and is ready to move on it is reason for celebration, not anger.

Frankly when someone gets angry over it, it is probably in many cases a symptom of a larger problem in the workplace environment.

Sump pump has been kicking on a decent amount. Have some ponding in the fields already, was before this today already.

It looked pretty wet up your way on Sunday, by the time I got home there was dust being raised on the gravel roads.

Finally figured out a strange work issue that has been driving me crazy. I spent most of yesterday going through manuals of a particular software product without any success. I finally started trying some tests out of desperation and figured it out.

My husband is in agreement with his 14u soccer teamS. The older team he's not too worried because they've been together for awhile...it's just conditioning. The younger team? He's a smidge worried.

This weather can go **** itself. How then he’ll can I get my 9u baseball team ready for the season in this crap?
That's the kind of attitude that separates the winners from the losers. :jimlad: We had more outdoor practices in February and beginning of march.

Well if I could get the little peckerheads from playing in the dirt, that would be a win for us.

Same. That was wild. I love Iowa spring weather.
