K-State tough sell is they finished the season 5-10, Sure they had some good wins, but to play that poorly over a 6-7 week period has got to catch the committees eye.
Their resume will be an outlier amongst the NIT teams when looking at quality of their wins. But it also would be a huge outlier amongst NCAA at large bids when looking at NET and their horrible losses.

Cannot remember another time I’ve seen a coach call out another team’s player by name in a critical way.

It’s virtually unheard of at the college level.
Unless you're a graduate of the Kim Mulkey school of Press Conferences for Coaches. Tang must have been top of the class.

I see Ross decided to go full doosh troll last night.

Just writing for myself here, but I would find TJ mopping a floor during a timeout while he should ostensibly be coaching to be a semi-cringy move at the very least.

Getting back to Jerome here though...I mean, I personally don't mind him dancing with the students in the stands or things like that. And let's be honest; if TJ were to do the "Juicy Wiggle" after a big win this website would have a huge collective orgasm about it and let's please not be hypocrites and pretend otherwise.

But when it comes to the other stuff that has happened this season, with the timeout kerfuffle after the game in Ames, mopping the court yesterday (and seriously, once again, WTAF???!!??), and then the snide little comment about Tamin last night I am just exhausted with this guy's antics.

I'm old enough to have experienced when I was growing the Golden Age of the old Big 8 and watching guys like Norm Stewart and Billy Tubbs back then. And back then, they were characters and fun to boo and cheer against, but as time has gone on (and hindsight is always 20/20, of course), those guys, as annoying and "villanious" as they seemed at the time, really were quite the characters, and there was really more of a rougish charm to them looking back on it.

I don't see myself looking back at Jerome Tang 10-15 years from now and regarding anything he's done as being charming though.

ill give randy p some credit takin a shot at Tang, too

"Tang can complain about Lipsey all he wants. The bottom line is that the former Ames High School star is a winner. He’ll be playing in the NCAA Tournament next week, while Tang’s team is likely playing someone in the, ahem, NIT."
That's probably one of the best, if not the best thing, Randy has written/said in his time covering Cyclone sports!

He just comes across as a really sore loser. If he can’t figure out how to talk to the press after losses without making things worse, than he should consider only talking in cliches, taking the same advice he probably gives incoming freshman in regards to the media. “If you don’t know what to say, then say one of the half dozen common cliche answers”

That was quite a sell job from Tang. May as well load up as many B12 teams as we can get.
I don't think it's gonna happen.

it’s true, Tangs wife said so..

This Kurtz guy is a first-class jacka$$. If you're going to write something about how the rest of the league is suspicious of something that ISU/TJ did you better damn well have the receipt to back that kind of sh!t up.

Not to mention that TJ in his "down" year had to resurrect a 2-win team/program from the previous season and made the Sweet 16 regardless. Kansas State may have been down during Bruce's last season, but they weren't 2-22 level of down.

F*ck this guy.

Just moving goal posts to push his narrative. Maybe we should talk about how he has no idea how to monetize his podcasts? Or how he has no idea how to be relevant outside of Twitter?

This is the **** that pisses me off. K state fans claim that tang never accused TJ of anything, that ISU fans are pushing the story. Yet here he is pushing the backdoor, unsubstantiated story that only could have come from tang's staff or have been made up completely. Since tang never denounced it, I assume it came from him. To try to claim innocence in all this is just bizarre.
