Fine. Let me rephrase. If I were to tell you it's a fact Matt Cambell was prepared to take the USC job would you feel the same, or do you hold the players to a different standard? We don’t really know how much he was or wasn’t talking to USC.

Age old response. That is Jamie's decision. How do know that Jamie didn't give him 4 hours to decide - in or out? Posters on this board have uniformed opinions, in general. Yes, I would be ok with Jamie saying you are with us or against us. I am also OK with MC saying clean out your lockers if you are making these declarations before the last game. You feel the same about Campbell and the USC job or do you hold the players to a different standard?
Glad to hear as the wife and I bought Hansen jerseys.Williams posted in premium forum on Saturday about it, mentioning that Hansen and Sama were the future at RB. So sounds like it to me.
Nobody is disagreeing with that statement. They absolutely have that right and MC has the right to say leave now. Why is this so difficult? So I'm assuming you've never changed jobs?
This is just silly. You commit to a school as a 18-19 year old kid. Sometimes it doesn't work out. Sometimes it isn't what you thought it would be based on your couple visits to the school. It happens. We are allowed in any other sector of society to move on from something we aren't happy with. Job, schools, marriages, etc. Why is a football team any different?
If he was prepared to take it then why is he still here? Because it wasn't offered.Fine. Let me rephrase. If I were to tell you it's a fact Matt Cambell was prepared to take the USC job would you feel the same, or do you hold the players to a different standard?
Harris would need to think long and hard as he's used up his free transfer. Next one would mean a year sitting out.Still on the team, but not sure he sticks around if he’s pretty much guaranteed to be (at best) #3.
I feel like we need to add one more back now. Because the “i” word.
I expect Hansen to put on about ten pounds in the off-season and be a total beast next year.
Didn't seem to bother Rocco & Brenden Black.
Best wishes to the both of them. They ran hard and will be solid backs somewhere else. Homeboy Sama is the future.

Most of the discussion surrounding these 2 is hypothetical at this point. Lots of assumptions being made in this thread about the situation but no one on CF really knows for sure how it went down. Why are you using a hypothetical?
Well put. These kids have a finite window to play college ball. Some might think they have a shot at playing the next level. Some might just want to see the field while they're in college. Either way, if it's not working for them, best to move on.So I'm assuming you've never changed jobs?

Dekkers bet on ISU football and Hanika bet ISU basketball.I thought we were talking about Dekkers and Brock not Hanika.
I hate the thought of that, but I bet you are absolutely correct.Well put. These kids have a finite window to play college ball. Some might think they have a shot at playing the next level. Too many fans forget that a vast majority of players on the roster didn't grow up as Cyclone fans. That's not a knock on them, or on Iowa State. I can't imagine it's true at any level of football - players are there because that team gave them the best opportunity available when they were looking for a team to join.
Fans root for their team out of love. Players play for a team because it's their job.

Tama? They lose money at Mesquaki casino you saying?tama was kicking their ass they seen the light
Hanson has been more of a third down back for pass blocking and dump passes. Norton would probably have lost snaps in that area. His lazy route is what was a big cause for the Iowa pick six.Probably wouldnt be Hansen. Incoming freshman Dylan Lee would have ended up taking carries from them too
If he was talking during he season, I'd be PO'd. If he talked during the off season, it doesn't bother me.You feel the same about Campbell and the USC job or do you hold the players to a different standard?
