so people are ok with losing to iowa and ohio
How dare you be upset with the coaches after losing to a MAC team!

I was upset with them, but now I'm giving them a ton of props. Kelani was both out-talented AND out-coached last night. Hell of a game from the OC especially!

What is the point of going back to old threads and finding anytime someone's said something negative about an ISU coach when people are trying to celebrate a win. People tend to vent on these boards, I know I do.
As they should, it’s an anonymous, public, free message board. All Cyclones welcome, including the pessimistic ones.

Great win last night!

Tell you what, recording the game and then watching it is the way to go.
Being at the stadium was pretty great too!

Insane atmosphere honestly.

BYU down 20 something and the place was absolutely shaking on 3rd downs.

The student section at BYU is at least 3x as large as ISU's. And it was full and crazy loud. Not sure how they do it without any alcohol haha

Ugh, and Kansas.

Fun to see last night an aggressive offensive game. The run game was suddenly successful because of the specific ways we were putting pressure on BYU downfield. And totally opposite of the Ohio and Kansas (and Iowa games), the opponent’s defense was not playing aggressive, downhill, and not confidently anticipating our play calls; they were on their heals, reacting. That split second “confidence boost” that our opponents played with during our losses (that we fueled for them, those entire games) - we never gave BYU a shot lost night.

This is now a string of road games where our offensive focus was NOT to “lengthen the game and keep it low scoring and close to give ourselves a chance” - but instead it correctly was to ensure we were putting pressure on the secondary, giving the run game a much better opportunity to be successful.

Isn’t it part of their missionary work requirement? JK

When you remove all other fun social activities (bars, movies, fornication), football games are all that is left to do. So that is the highlight of their week.

I went to bed before the game and resisted looking at the score when I woke up during the night.

What a great win! I’m not sure why the last few pages I’m reading are ********. with a young team we are bowl eligible with 2 games left. Did we leave some wins on the table? Sure. But so do most teams. At least we didn’t lose to ******* UCF.

Going to be hard to go to sleep now.

BYU is apparently not good.

Announcers are not either.

Hard to judge where we are given it all but I really hope we see Cooper against Texas.

I think we are a nice middle of the road team. We’ve done a good job in conference beating the bad teams.

Several,years ago, we were up 28 - 0 at the half KSU. won 35 - 28.
I was at that game with my father. I think that is when Darrin Davis played. Some KState fans that were pretty nice were sitting ahead of us and said their goodbyes at halftime. I told them I wouldn’t leave if I were them as I been going with my father since I could walk and they were not out of the game. They thought I was crazy.
