I so completely agree. As a person who's gotten a DUI and under the most unusual of circumstances of trying to be responsible, I will still never defend it. It's absolutely childish to try and defend driving under any influence whatsoever.

This thread is a train wreck. Thought I would add some context to this hypothetical though. If you get a DUI with a child in your vehicle its called child endangerment, and it is a felony.
