I know the law doesn't work this way, but to me, it's on pedestrians to avoid cars, always. What's easier to spot: a pedestrian seeing and hearing a car coming, or a driver trying to look out for other cars, animals and pedestrians at the same time? Even when I'm at a crosswalk and get the "WALK" sign, I keep an eye on every car that's moving and make eye contact with the drivers to make sure they see me and are stopping.
If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

How does Fran get mentioned with a random car accident in Iowa City? You gotta love the internet.

Oh, gosh, I dunno, maybe it was because it was his kid driving? Public figures are public figures.

Hope you never get hit by a random driver.

And on other news, Connor has taken a job with the Pacers. Can you imagine him trying to coach Tyrese Halliburton?

What are the odds Connor brings up Cyhawk when they played like TH hasn't done bigger things?

deeply weird how many of you are barely containing your glee that someone was killed because it might have involved a family member of a guy who coaches a team you don't like
Did he die? I haven’t seen that, last I knew he was in ICU.

Connor is a year older than Tyrese who has what, three years more NBA experience?

A. You must not have read this entire thread. Most are not happy this happened. It's a terrible situation.

B. What are your last 4 usernames on this website?

I hope at the first practice together, Hali whips a 100mph pass that hits that dickhead Connie smack dab in face…..Connie doesn’t even have the credentials to coach Lone Tree middle school. How the eff does he get an NBA job???
Smells of kkkirk getting his kids jobs in the NFL they weren’t qualified for either…..

I am pretty sure drivers ed taught that pedestrians have the right of way.

I won't go that far, as I believe its still the car's responsibility, but I also understand that the laws of physics don't care much about that so as a pedestrian I still have to be on guard. Ive been nearly hit while walking way too many times
