Testifying
Watch him go to Kansas or Kansas State. I actually think he'll end up at Wichita State, which would be a good spot for him.
I think Caleb would be great at somewhere like Wichita and maybe being closer to home would be a benefit.
I hope he redeems his imagine. He said the right things (on his twitter) at the end and took responsibility.

doesn't it feel odd that a guy who ISNT on the team, has to "transfer"???
He’d be a risk to take after how it ended for him with a coach he followed around only to be let go from the team! Maybe drop down a division would be best for him

Seems like he could be one of those "perfect missing pieces" for the right team ..or as some have said, just light it up at a team like Drake, etc.

Really hope for a good landing spot and last hurrah for him.

I'm surprised a school with the resources of Wichita would be that interested. With no football program they should be able to sign just about anyone they want in basketball

Good luck Caleb. Please don't go to the Big 12.

If you do, wouldn't be the end of the world, if it works for you. You'll still always be a Cyclone.

I wish Caleb the best but if he was struggling with mental health issues not sure how playing another year in a sport that can be stressful at times is going to help him overcome that. Guessing he must have immediate eligibility as a grad transfer with a covid year to use too as he's already transferred twice already. I'm sure he'll find a place to play somewhere but hoping he's in a good spot with his mental health where that is not going to be an issue again.

He’d almost certainly have to sit a year, right?
I was gonna say this. I thought I saw that the NCAA was going to be rejecting a lot of immediate eligibility waivers for transfers changing schools for the second time.

This would obviously be his 3rd transfer so I have no idea how that'll go.

I don't believe he would have to sit out as a grad transfer
NCAA documents have not been super clear, but they seem to indicate that if a grad transfer had already used their one-time freebie they would have to apply for a waiver. They’ve also said they’re going to stop handing out waivers like mad. So… who knows?

My thoughts on this: I know everyone's been talking about how the NCAA is going to be cracking down on waivers, and maybe no more "grad transfers" but I gotta think they're going to be approving quite a few immediately eligible transfers, like Grill, mainly just to get them out of college sooner.

They allowed the extra covid year, which at the time seemed like the right thing to do, but it has created a giant backlog of players, and I would think they want to get them out of the system sooner rather than later. Forcing someone like Grill to sit out a year, just to play one more, extends the whole process even more. How they're going to decide all that though, I have no idea.
