They are still an FCS team. No serious P5 program should ever be worried about and FCS team. It’s why when AP state beat Michigan it’s an all time upset. Michigan fans still refer to that game as “the horror”.

See, that's why nobody wants to play them and why Iowa shouldn't have scheduled SDSU. People who claim to be college football fans look at them as gimmes ignoring just how ******* good they are. They've (NDSU) had not one, but two top 5 NFL draft picks at qb the last decade. How many of those has MSU, Iowa, and ISU had in their entire history combined?

If ISU doesn't shore up their own defense Iowa will drive the ball.
I can see our DBs playing off the LOS again, letting Petras dink and dunk his way downfield and gaining confidence.

When was the last time Iowa made a mistake in the CyHawk game? 2015?

They haven't turned it over, but I'm sure there were open receivers that were missed, penalties negating big plays, etc.

Iowa is usually good for allowing two wide open deep receivers a game, teams like Purdue never seem to miss those.

Ah yes their two busts of Carson Wentz and Trey lance. One one his third team and the other had to get Jimmy G as the highest paid backup because he is no where near ready yet because NDST plays no one with talent. Might as well dap up UNC for producing Mitch trubisky

Yep and at some point hitting a big throw down the middle.

Iowa can look bad on bad for most of the game but there's always a threat at a tide turning play.

ISU needs to come out hating everything next week.

People just can’t get past the FCS labeling. North Dakota State and South Dakota State are better football teams pretty much every year than a Western or Central Michigan. They would beat them regularly.

Central produced a number one overall draft pick a few years ago and Antonio brown. By the other posters logic that makes them just as good.

Look should the be seen as a cake walk? Probably not but no serious P5 team should ever be worried about an FCS team.

Also I’m sure they would beat central and western, and those teams aren’t P5 or serious football programs. Almost every program out there has produced the occasional NFL talent but those teams are scheduled as non con warm up games for a reason. They aren’t serious threats if your team is contending for anything.

We’ve seen this before, Iowa will score 21+ against us next week.
Offensively, no. If I were the coaches, all this week I'd be throwing crap at them during practice. Make it what the Iowa game is going to be, bad calls against us, stupid turnovers, etc. Iowa was gifted a freebie in the 2nd quarter when SD had the ball, blatant pass interference that wasn't called. This is what our game with them is going to be like. We have to be prepared to be behind the 8-ball every play.

Another thing I would consider, since we fair catch every punt anyway, is going full boar after the block on every punt. Hell, I'd take a personal foul just to shake that punter of theirs up. I just don't understand why we don't rush the punter and still don't set up a return play.

I thought SDSt looked bad in that new stadium on CBS. Wow. Bares repeating the PAC does not care about football! At least Colorado had a full folsum field last night as bad as they played.

That won’t happen again the rest of the season.

Nebby has stop kicking their own ass. That is such an epic mess that it’s seriously hard to believe.
