Yep...the red/yellow of the Walden years is a bad look. Period. Have to at least go with a more gold-ish yellow and deeper red like was used in the 70s.
There has to be at least a LITTLE white in the jersey or LITTLE red in the pant if you're going to wear them together. Are RRW combo looks like a 4th grader designed them. It's not too far off from when Chizik got the job and we were so desperate to join the Oregon uniform craze that we just started mix-matching stuff and it looked awful.
Yes! The Niner-Nado! The color and the helmet...would be amazing. I wish there was even a 1% chance the gold transition would ever happen.
If only the "athletic council" in 1899 that who chose cardinal and "gold" (because the prior gold/silver/black was not simple for sweaters, graduation tassels, etc) had known about synthetic fabric options in the future.
usually by Wednesday...must be going for a surprise...probably the oreo uniforms like they wore against the TOE last year...I'm guessing but I wouldn't be surprised with the players love for the black and white combination of uni's
The Cyclone Equipment twitter had that travel gear image, but we aren't travelling this week so I was confused. But it had the black lid in the locker so I assumed B//. Thought we'd stay away from Black since that's part of SEMO's uniform, and it's not a special game.
Just look at the 1995-97 set (before the monochrome look took hold in '98). Slap on a white face mask, and you've pretty much got it.
Cardinal jerseys (white numbers) over white pants
White jerseys (red numbers) over red pants
True that'd be close to it. I think only thing missing from those was pants striping. (I think those were blank-white?)
They stay in a hotel the night before don’t they? But you’re right it’s black helmets in their lockers.
Nvm because in the photo we don't have the correct decals on to go with B/C/C so if the helmets do mean something it's likely B/B/W.
Cool. If a guy were to be around outside with young kids as the guys got on the team busses as stuff, would the players be game for high 5's, etc?
I would certainly guess that high fives would be perfectly fine! I've never seen them head out for the game I've just seen the guys walking around the night before while drinking in the lobby area.
