It looks fine to me...well as fine as WOI looks at least.

White balance is WAY off at the moment, though.

I thought the bad picture was because I was watching it on ESPN360.com but apparently it is everyone. What the heck!?:skeptical:

Usually it is the team that looks slow and choppy. But tonight, I think it is WOI.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

WOI is always horrible in their newscasts as well. Granted I work in TV and little stuff annoys me but it just always looks like they are downgrading everything. Network shows look fine however. It's weird

It is making me fell ill ... I've watched better video on my computer which has a crappy video card and CRT monitor.

Do you think the cold weather has anything to do with it?

Local broadcasts on channel 5 and 17 look like retro recordings from the 70s in comparison to 8, 13 and the national broadcasts. It's quite pathetic considering they want to be taken seriously.

fixed.

And the digital feed on 805 if you have a cable box is fine, but not the normal channel.
I wonder if this is a mediacom issue, as I have noticed this with a couple other cable channels the last week or so, same problem on the normal side, but fine on the HD side.

There could well be something to this.
I'm sure Mediacom has been preparing for the analog channels going away, and that means that they need to convert the digital signal to analog and then transmit that instead to legacy customers.

They might well have something wrong with their converters. There aren't any stuttering problems with DirecTV, either on the SD or HD feed, and there is no problem with either the SD or HD OTA feed.
