The area that Kohl kind of lacks is speed and mobility. Maybe lacks isn’t the right word but it’s not his strong suit.

Didn't he have a top 5 sparq score at a Nike camp not too long ago? I know I saw something like that. I guess I thought that meant he was pretty athletic, especially for a guy his size.

It's pretty wild to see the difference in rankings between On3, who has him highly ranked, and 247Sports who doesn't have him in their top 11 after day one

IMO 247 *has* to rank the guys high who they have rated high or else they make their rankings look bad. They’re the only reporting site who doesn’t mention JJ as one of the more impressive guys from day one

I think all recruiting services are like that. After so long, they will start to dig their heels in on bumping kids up. It gives off the feeling that they're credible and not willing to change rankings with knee-jerk intensity.
