Not that it means a whole lot, but I didn’t see him in any of the two round mocks.

Nobody is drafting him. However, I'm guessing he got somebody to offer him a 2 way deal. Only way this makes sense.

One thing being overlooked, hes exactly the kind of player who could have gotten Hilton rocking when he got hot. Last year people were bored out of their minds most of the home games because we'd play really good defense but couldn't make a basket for 6 minutes.

We only went 5-4 and easily could have been 4-5 from the West Virginia game. A large part of that is because Hilton wasn't very intimidating. I guess defense travels though so we'll have to get used to 5-4, 4-5 splits instead of dominating at home.

Ok but how did you get scammed?

Did TJ call you offering to fix your Windows PC?

Just disappointed and feel like I've been scammed. All the experts on this board seemed 99% sure he was coming here.

Of the options, going to play in the G-league in front of tens of fans who got free corporate tickets was the least likely scenario in my mind.
An 18 year year old committed to Steve Prohm, still came here after he was fired, played hard, then decided to transfer to make some money that ISU can't match. Most people think its because of his traumatic childhood left him in a tough financial spot. No cheap shot words on his way out, just left on his own accord like the system allows.

This. This is what broke you to the point of giving up completely on college basketball.

You've been whiny since it happened. Move on and enjoy it and stop ******** about everything else that happens (AJ Green as an example).

What? How many games did you make it to?
Ok then, what games did you go to that reminded you of the Hoiberg years when nobody was winning in Ames?
Kansas, Baylor, TCU, OSU weren't really competitive from the beginning.

The K-State was a total choke job, Tech was a middle of the week game during winter break. So I guess the West Virginai and Texas games were fun? That leaves Oklahoma who I think we blew out? So I guess 33% of the games were like the Hoiberg home games.

Every game at Hilton is fun. I even had fun in the McDermott years.

who cares if we have a player that makes it "fun" for you.

i want a player that can play defense and put up 12-18 points.

oh ive accepted it.

i just dont understand it from a pure basketball perspective.

maybe it'll come out that he has a guarantee or that he just wants to play over seas, which is totally fine.
How is this much different than Brockington? He had another year left, and nobody was freaking out about him leaving. IMO, AJ Green's game is more ready professionally.

So you don't like when we dominate in Ames? Got it!
It was the first year of one of the biggest turn arounds in college basketball history.

You need a break. You never referenced Hoiberg games in your previous post. Get a grip.

You also didn’t answer my question. How many games did you go to?

I personally like AJ's high release point. I think that "form" will really help him.

To be fair, he was pretty insufferable before Hunter leaving.

his didn't make sense to me, either.

he's probably well aware he's going over seas to play and has accepted that and that's totally fine. He'll get hooked up with a summer league team, too. or should anyway.

with AJ it was always, "NBA, NBA, NBA" or at least that was the vibe i was getting. i just dont see him having any shot this year. now, he could take the matt thomas route for sure. and thats fine too.
