My BIL is a deputy. He picks up stuff on the side all the time and makes pretty good money doing it. There are worse things than hanging out at a wedding reception for 3 or 4 hours and walking out with $500.
It seems that Hy Vee badly needs a change in leadership (mainly Randy Edeker). Not only all of these bad business decisions recently, but how the layoffs were handled was terrible (ripping employees and blaming the media).
I’m hoping for a snappy jingle like the helpful smile one to promote armed guards in every aisleIt seems as though they put zero thought into the value of positive public relations.
They must have used Gary Barta and the University of Iowa for public relations advice. It seems as though they put zero thought into the value of positive public relations.

Much better than most of their commercials where they kill an already crappy pop song. Some suggestions:
Where there's an armed cop where you shop
Where there's a man with a gun where your shopping's done
Where there's a uniformed man near the soda cans
I know they're terrible. Give me time.

Well with what a cart of Hyvee groceries would cost, your 2nd one would be good to escort you to your car. Some suggestions:

Not sure on how it would happen. I would guess that there is some sort of board. So how does a company like Hyvee, who is privately employee owned, fire and hire the top guy at the company? Who makes those decisions? Is there a board of directors? Honest question because I do not know how that would work.

Since he took over, there has been a shift in mentality with the company, and not for the better.
There was a highly contentious Slack conversation in the corporate-wide channel when it was announced that they were doing this. Someone actually ended up walking out as a result of that conversation after getting pretty heated and saying some things they probably shouldn't have (though myself and many others agreed with them 100%). It was not a popular decision and made many start to really question their decision to continue working there.
Anything the Slack channel indicate where this idea came from? Seems like it came out of left field.
Probably lobby legislature for authority to add a brothel. I guess I shouldn’t give Randy any ideas.I see the Waukee HyVee is expanding to add a sporting goods store, DSW, and a "Joe Fresh" store.
There is a board of directors. Randy is the chairman.
