Did the non-conference record match your expectations?

In the beginning, I expected us to finish somewhere between 11-4 and 13-2 for the non-conference season. Anything less than 11-4 would have been a disappointment.

We lost two games I expected us to win (Drake and SDSU) but won two games I expected us to lose (UNI and Houston). The games against Hawaii and Iowa could have gone either way, so I wasn't expecting automatic victories. As it is, two of our losses have come by a combined three points (Hawaii and Drake) and the only game we were really blown out in was at Iowa in the 2nd half.

Just off the top of my head, I can see us going 7-9 in conference, good for 18 regular season victories and a likely NIT or CBI berth.

I expected at least 12-3. So, it failed my expectations for the third year. However, I expect three conference wins based on Sagarin ratings now. Fifteen wins is my expectation. Similar to last year.

There is no CBI anymore (I'm pretty sure).

18 wins with our non-conference schedule would put us on the NIT bubble at best.

I thought we would be 13-2. Didn't expect losses @ Iowa, Hawaii, or SDSU. I thought Drake would get us and I thought Houston would get us.

My thought was 12-4, but I thought we would lose to Houston and UNI rather than SDSU and Drake...

I predicted 12-3, thinking we should really be 13-2 or 14-1, but new we would slip up a couple times along the way. Anything below 12 meant no post-season NIT. And that's where we sit.

I predicted 11-4. I knew we would lose to Drake and Iowa, figured on Houston and another random loss... Certainly didn't expect to lose to SDSU though.

We really should be 14-1..Iowa is the only one who really kicked our butt...We could of one every other game we just made stupid mistakes

We certainly could've...we also could've lost to Cal-Davis, UNI, and Houston though and be 8-7...I'd say we have the record we deserve at this point for how we've played.

Our record is what I thought it would be considering the very easy schedule but it is the way we got to the record that has me worried about the conference record - I would be surprised to win 4 conference games.

If we win any more than 6 conference games - that would be one helluva transformation from what we've seen so far. I think it'll be rather tough for us to get more than 5...
