Vegas doesn't seem to think too much of the current polls.....

Phil Steele’s Vegas power ratings have us at #10 but the K-State and OSU lines don’t jive with what he has. By his ratings we should be about a 7 point favorite against K-State (ISU -6.5 is the line now but it opened at ISU -4) and we should about a 10 point favorite at home against Oklahoma State.

The analytics continue to love ISU, which I'm sure is why Vegas continues to love ISU.
It makes sense. They are basically an average punter away from being 5-0.
The Iowa game was the most lopsided loss, but when you look at the stats and analytics, ISU was the far better team.

This chart really highlights this.

I think Texas rebounds this weekend. While Texas should have won the game last week, Okie State isn't a world beater. -4.5 right now seems appropriate.
Texas might win by 2 TD's tomorrow. Which is unfortunate, as I'm not excited about facing Gundy coming off a loss.

This is so dumb. Who on earth could've watched the ISU-Iowa game and come to the conclusion that "ISU was the far better team?" You guys have to stop this crap. Analytics is not football. It is a tool. Numbers can be manipulated to support whatever outcome you desire. But this one was obvious. Iowa is better than ISU this season.
