Here's my top two:

Offense: Steve Loney - has ties to Rhoads back to Macs tenure. He's currently the O-line coach at St Louis and that coaching staff will be broken apart at seasons end. Had great offense under him and our Oline was the best its ever been.

Defense: James Willis - currently was the LB coach of Auburn and he is a great recruiter. He's very well respected by the fans and players at Auburn and a job promotion may be enough to get him away from Auburn because i have a feeling Chizback Mountain is going to bring him back because of his recruiting connections.

Thats my top two anybody else got a suggestion...........

Auburn fans are saying James Willis(LB) and Eddie Gran(RB) are well worth pursuing. Some postings say that some fans hope to keep both, but the overall consensus is that Chizik will want his own staff (being the little ***** that he is). (I added that last part)

Ive heard very good things about willis, he would be well worth it for the DC position, and i would personally like to see Al Borges as the OC... although rhoads was only at auburn for this season, and he never was there when Borges was

You can mark Loney off the list. He didn't even get an interview as HC and I believe he has a year left on his NFL contract.

Who was the OC that Tubberville let go midway through the season? I don't think he ever got a fair shot at Auburn and may be worth a look...

I just want coordinators that can run a smooth ship and have a defense!! our offense looks really good at some points, so i want an OC that can use our weapons to the fullest potential, and offensive line blocking scheme that works.

has there been any mention as to what kind of assistant budget he will have? I imagine it will atleast equal what Gene had.

I don't have his name handy but he was from Troy and wanted to install the spread. He told everyone who would listen that it would take the team time to learn his system and then Tubby ran him after 1/2 a season

I am sure Rhoads will give him some consideraion, if that's the system he wants to run

The former OC was Tony Franklin

"Franklin was also named one of the top 10 recruiters in the South during his four years at Kentucky as he helped lead the Wildcats to their first back to back bowl appearances in 15 years and their first New Year’s Bowl game appearance in 50 seasons."

Chizik already wiped out the whole remaining staff last Sunday.

That Kentucky offense was a lot of fun!
