First day of summer so we need to replace the spring weather thread with a new summer weather thread.

The forecast rainy first day of summer is a bust so far here up north. Got an official .02" at the airport so far. Big whoop. Just going to go and assume the rain 100 miles west of here will wisp away over the next few hours.

Rain was 40 miles south of what I needed. This is getting old.

It's time!

0.7 in overnight into morning. Just when I took a large indoor plant out to be watered and leaves rinsed by the rain, it stopped. Sigh. Now breezy and humid again.

Not exactly sure.

Can I borrow that plant. Enough to get the ground week this week.

Unless another line fires up, it looks like the eastern & southern portion of those counties are getting the storm this evening.

That’s fine it’s not like we wanted rain in CR. A tenth of an inch is enough for one day.

Had a couple narrow, but pretty intense, thunderstorm lines roll through the Twin Cities this afternoon. A quick downburst is better than nothing but it's not a drought buster at 1/4 inch or less.
