I can’t believe it is approaching 12pm CST and Prohm is still our basketball coach.
Pollards acting like he doesn’t gaf. A little ncaa committee for a couple days, a little track and field today. Tomorrow he has a manicure and pedicure, maybe Wed or Thursday if we are lucky he will squeeze the basketball program into his busy schedule.

I doubt Jamie is in Ames. His kid is at the National Cross Country meet. What's the difference if it's today or tomorrow?
The quicker you go, the more opportunities you have for transfers and recruiting. It may not be much, but with a team that went 0fer in the big 12, you gotta take whatever advantages you can get to right the ship.

It doesn't matter. If we'd have got him straight from Dayton people would have creamed their shorts. So is he dumber now?

I think it is apparent that he is another one of those great 'non P6' coaches that finds their style difficult to translate. Your statement is weird, as you are wanting everyone to ignore 4 years at a comparable school to ISU and only look at his record at a non P6 program.

If we are going to do that, let's stick with Prohm and ignore his time at ISU and focus on this time at Murray. Sounds weird, right?

Transfers and recruits probably won’t make moves until the dust is settled all over.

Well we are going to hire TJ by not focusing on his time at UNLV....

Did that meet get scheduled last minute?
Seems odd Prohm would think last Wednesday that they would meet on today if Jamie had thought it was even possible of being out of town to watch XC

I believe we're creating a paper trail here for a mental anguish lawsuit. Any lawyers here want to take us as clients?!?

No opportunities are lost in this situation whether the announcement comes today or tomorrow.

I got in my vintage automobile and turned on the radio and these two guys were discussing csp....and it went like this: "Well you know with the finances at Iowa State Jamie Pollard might have to keep Steve Prohm"

MY response: That might be true, but if that happens the sixty percent (their guests figure not mine), of the fans who want Prohm FIRED will not be attending any mbb at Hilton anytime soon.

I sat in Hilton along with 500 other patrons to watch Coach Lynn Nance LOSE another game...I never thought those days would ever return...but...they just might if Coach Steve Prohm is coaching next year.

I'm not sure how much overlap in candidates we'd have with the Gophers but you'd have to think with Big 10 money and recruiting availability it's a job that could get filled before ISU.
I'd say there could be alot of "overlap" but what "recruiting availability" do they have that we dont?
