Not questioning the 'idea'. Just the extreme. Furthermore, since 2010, Iowa States alumni, brand, and popularity have grown significantly. How much is anyone's guess. But, the impact to ticket sales may not be as bad as some predict ... next year.
3,000 on average at $250 for the season is still $750,000. I think attendance is down at least a few thousand on average for the year. It also isn’t just season tickets. Single game tickets account for that too. I’d guess we sell very few single game tickets if he’s back but I think it could be significant if we have a new coach. You will likely have a lot of people want to check out the new coach. for example I’d probably go to a couple of games with a new coach but will go to zero with Prohm.

New rule this year you can absolutely just rake people across the arm.
Bohannon has always played this way. He reaches on defense a lot because he is always getting beat by his man. And on offense, he can't dribble around anyone so he uses his hands/arms to push off and separate. Garza uses his chicken wings to get around people in the post. It's disgusting what they've been able to get away with over the past few years.

He’s still trying to be Niang but lacks the personality and talent to do it. It’s cringy.

Was there ever a time where Niang just flat out threw a temper tantrum and screamed directly at a ref after a very obvious foul?

Iowa's team is good and could be in that 'fun to watch' category but outside of Weiskamp and Murray I'm not sure if I've seen such a whiny group.

Lol Garza does what literally every good big guy in the country does.

I actually agree with Bohannon. Underwood is shady as hell. However, an active player calling out an opposing coach like that is pretty "bold". I noticed he did it after he no longer has to play Illinois.
Too lazy to look it up but we're the sanctions they are going to impose on OSU due stuff that happened while he was there?

They would have been awful this year without the COVID factor. People just don't buy tickets for failing programs. Iowa State fans aren't any different than fans anywhere else.

Does make you think we already have someone in mind if we keep pushing off firing Prohm. Some of the openings have already been filled and more openings are popping up.

And kind of pseudo toughness which is why they can't beat teams like Illinois.
Lol, but they can go 5-0 against teams like Wisconsin and Michigan St who play rugby on a basktball court. Makes sense.

The reason they cant beat Illinois is a talent and coaching discrepancy, has nothing to do with toughness.
