Gotta think the Prohm accouncement will be tomorrow right? Unless Pollard isn’t flying back to Iowa until tomorrow and wants to wait to finish the discussion in person. There is no benefit to anyone by dragging it out. this is going to be a wild transfer season and we need to hit the ground running on recruiting.

Again, unless we are hiring a coach that is not playing in the post season, there's not a huge rush because head coaches are still working.

I think there is some sort of idea among our fans that we are way behind schedule because we all know that Prohm is going to get fired. But we are not behind schedule. I think one Power 5 job is open right now. Coaches will start to get fired this week. Coaches will start to get hired next week as teams lose in the tournament.

If we hire TJ this week, one can bet that Jamie didn't look that much into who to hire.

He’s been looking into TJ for 6 years.

I’m sure Creighton hired what you would consider a non-successful head coach. He’s still there going strong a decade later.

Are people thinking the meeting is Monday? I assume Jamie is with the committee all day today, fly back tomorrow? Could we be looking at Tuesday or even Wednesday? I would think this doesn’t get dragged out too long.

Id be shocked if the meeting isn’t tomorrow. The flight from Indianapolis isn’t that long, as long as there isn’t a long layover in Atlanta or wherever lol.

Creighton knew at the time McDermott was money at that level of conference play. Which he was and is.
