Current NBA assist-to-turnover leaders. Monte passed T. Jones but now Mountaineer Jevon Carter is in the way (although he is currently riding the pine with A. Nader):

Edit: Tyrese is currently #19 at 3.4.

Good day for Lindell Wigginton in the G League bubble, with 28 PT on 11-18 / 3-6 shooting plus 7 AST and 1 TO.

Good finish here - I always liked the way he attacked the hoop:

Looking better from 3:

Anyone else watching the jazz hornets game? Georges having one of his best games ever and is a perfect 6 of 6 from three with 8 minutes left in the 4th.
Make it 7 of 7 for 21pts in 16 minutes. Throw in 3 rebounds 1 assist and no turnovers. Ended with a plus minus of 27 and he got the post game interview. That was fun to watch.

Ope and his teammates gave him a water bottle shower on the court right after his interview. Ha. I love Georges.

Highlights from Tyrese's big night (there's a finger roll / hook shot, a floater/bank shot, a bomb from downtown - he's scoring in so many ways):

Tyrese is just one of the smoothest players I've ever watched.

He is a throwback to late 70s to mid 80s era before the NBA transitioned into the 90s physical era. A time of lots of transition basketball but when finishing was more creative than just finding open 3s in transition like it became the past 10 years.

When I went to bed in the Eastern time zone, the Jazz were down by 2 and Georges was a mere 2 for 2. What a night. If you appreciate basketball beyond the 3's, watch the ball movement leading up to Georges' 2nd 3 of the night. Here are all 7 of them plus a sweet lob on the move to Gobert (reminded me of Georges to McKay vs. Kansas); notice how he side-stepped on 2 of them to avoid the close-out. He's had to re-make his game - that's an incredibly high level of skill:

Here's his on-court shower:

EDIT: Early AM Sportscenter showed about 4 of Niang's 3s and mentioned his 7-for-7 performance.

That game raised his 3pt% from about 32% to 36% and his scoring from 4.7 ppg to 5.2.

In NBA news related to Cyclones not named Niang ...

The Lakers blew a 17-point lead and lost to the Wizards in OT. Some people are debating whether they're missing A. Davis or D. Schroeder more. THT put up some efficient scoring numbers in kind of a 9th man role: 16 MIN, 7 PT, 3-4 FG, 1-1 3PT, 0-1 FT, 1 STL, 2 BLK, 2 TO and +3.

Nader remains out of the rotation but the Suns are rolling so it's unlikely any immediate changes are going to happen. He played 8 minutes but entered the game when Phoenix was up by 30 over Portland - no points and 2 rebounds for him.

Monte and company are on national TV tonight:

Good points about styles of play and transition back then. Guys like Magic and I. Thomas were magicians on the break.

Campazzo has been playing pretty well for Denver lately. Hopefully they're not gonna start giving him Monte's minutes. The guy doesn't have Monte's floor vision, but he is lightning in a bottle offensively.
