I'm guessing the new RV lot will be something similar to Tiger Lane down at the Liberty Bowl. If I remember right the cost of that was about $10M.

Just one small point

The department didn't have to educate and feed and protect our student athletes

They had the honor of educating, feeding, and protecting those folks.

I get around
$10 Mil for 300 RV spots for 4-5 games a year, private funding. That's 33K per spot. Those are some deep pockets looking for a place to ... PARTY !
I'm sure that the RV spots will be used almost year around for people attending various functions on campus. It's a very popular thing to travel in your motorhome/RV to conferences, seminars, visiting, award ceremonies, as well as continuing education/adult ed classes, other athletic events, parent's days, etc. It could bring a nice stream of revenue to the Athletic Dept. Jamie doesn't miss a beat to capitalize on something to help ISU.

Also I know of friends from out of state who bring their motorhome to area RV Parks (Saylorville comes to mind) a couple of days before a game just to extend their trip, then stay in the RV donor lots tailgating for the weekend of the game (and we've done it ourselves). They do it also for stays after the game for a few days. Those days could be spent at the ISU RV Park and would generate a lot of income.

Stand outs to me:
COVID budget deficit - $25M
New contract for Campbell and staff is in the works
Pedestrian Bridge going to BOR in February - Cost of $10M was fully funded by 2 $5M gifts; Expect it to be open in Fall of 2022
New RV Parking Lots - going to BOR later in Spring - Another $10M funded by private gifts; Expect it to be open in Fall of 2022
Hilton/Scheman Renovations - TBD
Entertainment District - hope to start up these conversations again soon

What can we do?
Renew Football tickets this year
- Price increases on season tickets - see below
Renew Cyclone Club Membership

If I deferred tickets in 2020 do I escape the price increase?

We would stay there when visiting central Iowa for sure. We can go about a week without a sewer.

Yeah I would have to think these things will be open year round to rent with football weekends blocked off.

Yep, and I know that kcbob has observed the same thing that we have as we travel the country. A lot of venues build their own RV Parks as a money maker and/or as a convenience for their customers to attract business. We have used a lot of them ourselves. Casinos, water parks, amusement parks, US military bases, Universities, RV dealerships and manufacturers, etc., etc., have their own RV Parks. Some good nearby examples are Adventureland/Prairie Meadows, the Osceola Casino, World's of Fun in Kansas City, the water park/casino in Waterloo, etc.

6% increase for JTC tickets. Around 20%-25% increase for everyone else... Don't love those optics. I wonder if there is resistant in raising JTC levels to near $2000??

On a dollar per game difference it pretty low for everyone

Having 3 season camping options near campus will be a home run!!! Especially in a post-COVID germ sensitive world.
