5 triple-doubles this year already while leading the league in assists a tidally tied with James Harden) as a 7 footer.

I noticed the poster shitting on the league earlier and it’s the same old tropes like “NBA doesn’t play defense” and “James Harden doesn’t pass” that drives people like that.

Was Wilt 1967-68 the last center to lead the NBA in assists? Jokic is awesome!

He IS good. When the Broncos had those 3 QBs out for COVID, they should've played the Joker. Such a great passer.

He's definitely been the most underrated player in the league for a few years.

He doesn't have the charisma of some other stars but if anybody just loves watching basketball I don't see how he isn't a top 5 player to watch. He's one of the most creative minds I've ever seen play.

Rough night (again) for the Kings. They’re gonna lose by 30. Hali finishes the game with 5 points (2-7 shooting) and 5 assists.

Tonight, Georges got some extra run due to Joe Ingles being sidelined and some mop-up minutes in the blowout over Atlanta. His line: 21 MIN, 10 PT, 4-8, 2-6, 6 REB, 3 AST and 3 TO. Back-to-back games in double figures for the MInivan.

The Kings had a rough one in a 38-point loss to the Clippers. Tyrese finished in single figures for just the 2nd time this season. HIs final line:
24 MIN, 5 PT, 2-7 FG, 1-2 3PT, 2 REB, 5 AST, 1 STL, 0 TO and -21

Oops. Was JUST posting that.

Did anyone watch the game? Did he look OK (my guess is yes but the line doesn't reflect all the good things he does).

Tyrese looks great actually. Didn’t see the game tonight but generally speaking he is impressive. Much like his freshman year at ISU he is just too good to keep off the floor. The rookie of the year chatter is legit.

THT out of the rotation last night: no points in 3 minutes of garbage time last night for Talen Horton-Tucker in the Lakers' easy win.

Playoff redux -- Monte / Nuggets vs. Georges / Jazz.

Both Monte and Georges go 1-for-1 from 3 in the 1st quarter. Georges goes 2 for 2 in the 1st half and has outscored Monte so far at halftime.

Georges in double digits AGAIN. I love it when he uses that footwork and craftiness that he always showed at ISU instead of just being a 3-point specialist. Monte's in this clip but couldn't stop Georges:

(How do Niang's and Jokovic's combined vertical leaps stack up vs. Zion Williamson's :) )

Who had Georges outscoring Monte head-to-head tonight? Utah wins a close one, 109-105, and knock the Nuggets under .500 (6-7). Some thought Denver would be a contender this year but their D hasn't been good enough and Murray has not been the player he was in the Bubble, so far (he was pretty awesome there so maybe that's to be expected).

Georges' line: 14 MIN, 11 PT, 4-6 FG, 2-3 3PT, 3 REB, 1 TO and +8. Georges' points in first 7 games: 2 pts. First 10 games: 11 pts. Georges in the last 3 games: 35 pts. It's helped him to get a few more minutes with Joe Ingles out; he seems to have found some rhythm.

Monte's line: 25 MIN, 7 PT, 3-7 FG, 1-3, 1 REB, 2 AST, 0 TO and -5. Kind of a quiet one for Tae.

Tyrese Haliburton has cooled off in terms of his scoring the last 2 games (though he's the type of player who contributes in so many ways) and the young Kings are struggling to slow down their opponents and sit at 5-9. They dropped a 128-123 result to New Orleans (Zion W. had 31 pts on a rather efficient 13-15 night). Tyrese's line: 23 MIN, 2 PT, 1-3 FG, 0-1 3PT, 3 REB, 2 AST, 2 BLK, 2 TO and -12.

There are many big games ahead for Ty.

Matt Thomas got a whole two minutes of playing time and scored two points. Hopefully won’t be sent back into witness protection and/or Nurse locked doghouse.

He is locked into that doghouse, isn't he? Two games of full rotation and then he came in the 2nd half of the 3rd game when they were down. And he scored in those. Nurse must've seen something he really didn't like on the defensive side. Unbelievable.

Nader and Talen Horton-Tucker both had DNPs last night.
