Woof
Well goddamnit we can’t have everyone get a case of fumbleitis can we?
Woof
One of the problems is that a FOIA probably is not going to reach players personnel files, ie if they made complaints but they will be able to get emails from parents.Mark Morehouse has filed a FOIA.
No Worries! Hawkeye Murph, Hawkeye Andy, and Hawkeye Andrew are just being biased and unbalanced.
https://www.brookings.edu/blog/brow...-tribalism-and-callousness-in-college-sports/It's funny because Downs is Mr. SJW (not saying that's a bad thing). One look at his Twitter shows he's clearly a big advocate for racial equality. There's no doubt if this were another school he'd be all over it. But when it's beloved Kirk...
Didn't help the narrative when he said that this never happened at UNI either
I basically quit listening after Murph and Andy both made comments that they were shocked no other players at other schools have come forward like at Iowa....
A very sad thing has been the fact that this entire movement has been predicated on listening, talking, understanding, empathizing, and change. From a lot of Iowa fans, I've seen a lot of pointing fingers, demoralizing comments about victims, confirmation bias, and defensive comments in favor of the coaching staff.I was done after the first caller that equated it to a drill Sargent. He opened by stating Doyle hasn't actually used any racist words correct?Because "THAT" world be unacceptable.
What's going to make me physically ill will be the production that goes into making Kirk out as some newly remade man. Years of racist policies swept under the rug because he establishes a minority leadership group or something.
TP, your AD hasn't made a single comment in the last WEEK.
Does anyone else find the silence of players willing to publicly stick up for Doyle, Brian, and Kirk deafening?
*checks url of site.* still not hawkeyecirclejerk.comno. No one wants to be on the wrong side of the cancel mob right now. It’s pretty similar to the mindset on this website.
With the amount of allegations out already plus the severity of some of them, I think it's pretty justifiable that there is a mob of people that would like to see the program have some repercussions for their actions. Especially considering the current events we are facing as a society right now. But if you think this whole thing is simply about cancel culture I guess we all know where you stand in all of this.no. Sam Aiello beat the hell out of Jon Beutjer, and ended up on the Leadership Council.
C.R. Gazette, Aug. 29, 2001:
"On media day (Aug. 10), Ferentz declared the fight a non-issue. And then last Wednesday (Aug. 22), at the urging of Beutjer and his parents, Jim and Nancy, Ferentz acknowledged the severity of the incident."
I think that Ferentz is a fraud. He puts out a clean cut public persona. But, any negative news gets swept under the rug and anyone who questions it gets their access pulled. He's a controlling bully. See the huge middle finger he gave to everyone by giving Doyle the award after rhabdo. But hey, he wins, so the fans are behind him and the press wouldn't dare to oppose him. He's going to do everything possible to keep this gravy train going for him, his son, his son-in-law and his buddies like Doyle.

come on, man. Kirk is about as good of a person as there is in the meathead world of college football.
come on, man. Kirk is about as good of a person as there is
My stance is based on the fact that there have been very few, perhaps no, calls for Kirk to be fired by anyone with credibility.
