did anyone else catch the number of, and player positions that Coach Chizik said they were recruiting on the radio show this evening? I couldn't get them written down fast enough. Help?

Folks really ought to lay off of Diamond Dave. Seriously, he is one of the most positive fans I've met. The man never leaves the bandwagon, and that counts every Cyclone sport. It wouldn't hurt to have many more Diamond Dave-type fans.

He also said, when describing the specialist, as being someone in high school who was used to fielding punts and was fast. I don't know if this was truely an indication of someone they specifically have targeted or not. Any thoughts? I would have thought it would be easier to recruit a JC player to fill this spot, but then we all know that GC does not recruit a lot of JC players. :smile:

The one in Cedar Falls was great when I went to UNI. 2 for 1's every day and karoke on wednesday nights. Nothing like getting drunk and trying to sing a little stairway.

We did grab quite a few guys that are or will end up at DT last year.

Hopefully Bailey Johnson will be in the mix for next year. He looked to be the best reserve DT last year and hasn't been able to play a snap this year due to a pre-season injury that I don't believe has been disclosed.

Any wonder why the defense has struggled? The starting DT and starting SS have played about ten snaps between them all year. And our best LB has missed several games.

That adds up to 22-24 recruits. I'm guessing that leaves a couple spots for players like Hargrett or Gaines or Green or somebody like that if they would choose to come to ISU.
