Waukee
Grant Mccasland will be an interesting P6 name in a couple years, also has B12 ties.

Arkansas St went from 11 wins to 20 wins year 1.

North Texas went from 8 wins to 20 wins year 1.

Hey @Cyclones125 instead of going on a disliking spree, go find a post where I argued Prohm was better than Hoiberg, thanks in advance

Yeah dude keeps thinking Hoiberg will come back, without providing evidence, then wants evidence that Hoiberg won't come back (like that he left to begin with), then makes Prohm vs. Fred arguments with no evidence that anyone he's arguing with made that a thing to begin with.

It's an agenda and unhealthy obsession with Hoiberg, not much else.

Flame away, I will. Why would you not want the experience of a former head coach on your bench? How can that not be a good thing? If anything it's a testament to Fred that former head coaches are willing to come on his staff and be an assistant.

I agree but it seems like the wrong combo for a head coach that we were told hated to recruit.

Why are people still talking about Holberg? Serious question..I don’t get it. this is about Prohm and his inability to coach basketball. It just really reflects poorly on this fan base that some of you still constantly talk about him.

Wasn't going to get much better results? They were a top 3 team in conference. He left when the core of his team still had 2 years left. Prohm was less successful with those same guys as upperclassmen than Hoiberg was with them as underclassmen. Nobody has provided any actual evidence that Hoiberg wouldn't entertain the idea of coming back, and all comments by JP and Fred indicate he departed on good terms. It would be very dumb to not attempt to bring him back if he was interested. He was one of the best college coaches in the country and by all metrics the best coach in ISU history during his run. So yes, I think very highly of Fred as should the rest of Cyclone Nation but it seems you and several others are still butt hurt he left to pursue his NBA coaching dream, which he was very upfront about.
Prohm basically had five guys montes senior year. IMO depth was their main deficiency.

If he is available- Steve Forbes is a wicked good coach and outstanding recruiter. Friend of former Cyclone Asst (and ETSU HC) Jim Hallihan

I wonder if Cy125 is Jeris's alt or relative.

I think that dude got banned and is probably just frothing over this season.

Because people think Fred's love of ISU is equal to their love of ISU.

There are a few newer users that I figure are alts. Makes sense that that would be Jeremy.

That actually makes a lot of sense.

Wonder if their home looks like this except with homages to Fred.

Maybe some blow up dolls.

Dear lord, do I have to explain wins and losses to you?

Fred's record: 115-63 (.673) Conf: 49-39 (.557)
Prohm's record: 91-63 (.600) Conf: 36-41 (.473)

That is including the Fred's 1st season in which he inherited maybe the worst roster in the Big 12. This also includes Prohm's first 2 seasons in which he inherited one of the best rosters in the Big 12 via Fred Hoiberg. I can assure you if those seasons were omitted it would be even far more in Fred's favor.

I'm still waiting for you to provide a quote from me where I made this conversation about Fred vs. Prohm since those are the points you've continually, bellgerently made, Jereis.
