I think Campbell's philosophy is right for a place like Iowa State, that is, you can win by being better at detail than another team that may have more talent.

But I don't think this team backs it up very often.

Philosophy is just words. The proof is on the field. We are terrible at the details.

It reminds me of year after year hearing about Prohm’s identity as a tough defense and rebounding coach, even though we suck at both, but are actually usually skilled offensively. In year 5, those words are meaningless.
