His offer was pulled
Something happened during his recruiting process that led to his offer getting pulled.
But no one knows what happened? I heard rumblings of a recruiting violation or something and ISU had to back off and also heard Campbell didn't like him still going to Iowa on visits.
I don't think there was a recruiting violation. Not sure about the second thing, but something I heard happened which led to his offer being pulled. I believe it was said in another thread but I don't really want to be the one that puts it out there.
Kid could be a stud in the years to come. Super excited he's a Cyclone.

My understanding is that Chubba wanted to blaze his own path. Nothing other wanting to do his own thing instead of following big brother.
One of the best in the business. Iowa has been lucky to have him for 20 years.
